The Association of Biomedical Healthcare Scientists is an independent body which exists for the collective pursuit of professional aims and objectives in science.
The Association is an approved centre for national vocational training for support workers working within the healthcare science workforce.
Association of Biomedical Healthcare Science also works in partnership with its approved training providers and Job-centrePlus, providing government funded national vocational training programs at levels 1-4.
The Association is also a group member of the Academy for Healthcare Sciences.
- The Association of Biomedical Healthcare Scientists covers all aspects of laboratory medicine; microbiology, immunology, haematology, clinical biochemistry, genetics and histopathology.
- The members are undergraduates and graduates of Biomedical Sciences who work across the NHS, National Blood Service and private sector medical laboratories.
- Association of Biomedical Healthcare Scientists is a professional membership organization committed to maintaining laboratory training at band levels 1-4, supporting professional training and CPD, promoting excellence in the practice of pathology.
